Our client, a NYC-based financial services firm with an international parent company, are seeking an experienced professional to join their research and investment strategy group, focusing on advanced economies. The individual will combine strong analytical skills with an international outlook, contributing to the firm’s global perspectives on markets and policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Economic Research: Carry out deep-dive analysis on developed markets, tracking macroeconomic patterns, regulatory shifts, and industry dynamics.
- Quantitative Analysis: Build and refine models that translate data into actionable insights to support investment strategies.
- Publications & Insights: Draft research notes and commentary that highlight economic developments and their implications for investment decisions.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Partner closely with colleagues worldwide to spot opportunities, evaluate risks, and shape portfolio positioning.
- Data & Tools: Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of proprietary databases and modeling platforms.
- Independent Contribution: Operate with a high degree of autonomy, while remaining aligned with senior leadership and team objectives.

Preferred Background

Salary : $250,000 - $300,000
