Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Property Inspector to join our operations team. This role is essential in ensuring our vacation rental homes consistently meet the high standards expected by our guests and owners. The ideal candidate will excel in conducting thorough inspections, supporting guest needs in the field, and maintaining overall property quality. This position involves hands-on work, guest interaction, and independent task management across multiple properties.
Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Inspections
- Conduct detailed inspections prior to guest arrivals, during stays (as needed), and after departures.
- Identify and report any maintenance, cleanliness, or safety concerns.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as replacing AC filters, changing lightbulbs, and installing batteries.
Guest Support
- Deliver requested items or amenities to guests promptly and professionally.
- Interact with guests in the field, addressing questions or concerns with a friendly and service-oriented approach.
Trash Route Management
- Complete daily trash routes for assigned properties, ensuring proper collection and disposal.
- Maintain compliance with local rental and property waste regulations.
Operational Support
- Communicate effectively with the office, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Document inspections and updates using company tools and systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property inspections, hospitality, maintenance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot issues quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual preferred.
- Professional, courteous demeanor with strong guest service skills.
- Comfortable working independently in the field across multiple property locations.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in property care, hospitality, or maintenance is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work evenings or after-hours when necessary.
- Saturday availability required.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs or more.
- Strong time management and self-direction.
