Job Description
We are looking for an experienced commercial insurance agent to add to our staff. Active insurance license with prior experience selling and prospecting in commercial lines with an independent insurance agency is required. Come grow with our unique company culture and great work atmosphere. Salary plus commission. Highly driven individuals can earn well above the range listed. Will have a dedicated account manager for service, renewals, and bill inquiries from day one in order to focus on sales. Salary potential higher than range if a high performer.

Responsibilities
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
- Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
- Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
- Generating insurance quotes.
- Be outstanding at relationship building.
- Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices
- Uphold the wants and needs of your customers
- Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
- Provide policies to new clients and explain benefits/risks of the policy
Requirements
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
- Ability to generate commercial prospects
- Minimum of 3 years prior commercial insurance sales experience is required.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
