Our Culture Development Trainer will ensure the education and development of Credit Union staff. You will onboard new employees, be responsible for technical training and sales training of new and current employees. You will research, develop, prepare and implement new training. Our Culture Development Trainer will coordinate the follow-up phases of training and will recommend new or additional training as necessary for the development of a sales/service culture. You will measure the effectiveness of training programs, and make changes to increase training success. You will write and maintain procedures and other training materials.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of financial institution experience required in either operations or lending.
- Minimum of 2 years of informal or formal training experience required.
- Communication – the individual is able to communicate processes and procedures to employees in an effective and engaging manner both in verbal and written communication.
- Problem Solving - the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and provides the appropriate follow up to the necessary individual(s) when a resolution is found.
- Adaptability – the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
- Professionalism – the individual is able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality while being welcoming and engaging to employees, all while setting an example for the culture of Cobalt Credit Union.
- Customer Service – the individual ensures that member service is a top priority internally and externally with members through their actions and trainings.
- Skills in various office equipment and software with the ability to troubleshoot when technical issues arise during training.
