Saturday 10 am to 3 pm
Sunday 11 am to 3 pm
The Branch Growth & Relationship Manager leads all aspects of branch performance while serving as a visible business banking and community relationship leader. This position is accountable for profitable growth, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, member experience, team development, and the expansion of small business and community partnerships. The manager develops and executes a local market plan; builds a strong internal and external referral network; identifies, deepens, and retains business relationships; and connects members and prospects with the appropriate credit union solutions and specialists. The role is hands-on and may perform managerial, lending, member service, and teller functions as business needs require.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
- Seven years of financial institution experience including three years of direct management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Credit union or banking branch management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sales and service techniques and credit union products and services preferred.
- Strong leadership, planning, communication, organizational, cash handling, balancing, and computer skills; ability to travel to meetings and training.
- Demonstrated experience developing business banking relationships, community partnerships, referral networks, or comparable external business development activity preferred.
- Working knowledge of consumer and business banking products, lending fundamentals, sales and service techniques, branch operations, and applicable compliance requirements.
- Strong business acumen, presentation, networking, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently in the market and collaborate effectively with internal specialists and community stakeholders.
- Proficiency with approved systems for contact, pipeline, referral, and performance tracking.
