Your Role:
As a Diesel Technician B, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to build a career in diesel mechanics.
- Assist in performing routine maintenance on gas and diesel engines
- Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Develop proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software
- Support brake inspections and other safety checks
- Gain experience with tools such as jacks, lifts, and precision measurement instruments
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures
- Accurately document maintenance and repairs in the system
- Complete required training and certifications
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently attending or graduated from a Gas & Diesel Trade School
- High school diploma or equivalent required (vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred)
- Basic mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills and hands-on tool usage experience
- A valid driver’s license is required (CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL is preferred)
- Strong customer service attitude and effective communication skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry into maintenance systems
- Must possess necessary tools to perform assigned tasks
