The Safety Intern will be responsible for supporting our Safety Manager. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in workplace safety, administrative support, and basic operations while contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of our facilities.

The Safety Intern will be responsible for supporting our Safety Manager. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in workplace safety, administrative support, and basic operations while contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change and update safety posters throughout the facility
- Conduct routine safety walks with department staff to observe and report on safety practices
- Enter data accurately into Excel spreadsheets and internal tracking systems
- Perform online comparative shopping for safety supplies and PPE
- Place online orders and submit purchase requests as directed
- Stock restroom areas with paper products and monitor supply levels
- Distribute packages and safety-related materials and departments
- Take inventory of PPE and report usage/restocking needs
- Assist with general safety projects and administrative support as needed
- Complete other minor duties assigned by the Safety Team
- Currently enrolled in high school, college, or a recent graduate
- Interest in workplace safety, operations, or logistics preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and internet browsing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Must be able to walk facility floors and lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
- Professional, dependable, and eager to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products
