Supervisor- Custodial Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Supervisor for Custodial Contract to lead and manage cleaning operations across designated facilities. In this role, you will oversee the daily activities of custodial staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety are maintained in accordance with company policies and industry regulations. Your leadership will drive team performance, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective management of commercial cleaning, industrial sanitation, and housekeeping services. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate custodial staff to ensure efficient completion of cleaning and sanitation tasks across multiple sites.
• Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify adherence to safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and cleanliness standards.
• Provide training and guidance on proper cleaning techniques, use of cleaning equipment, and safety procedures.
• Manage inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective usage.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for staff and visitors.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, incidents, inspections, and compliance reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or industrial sanitation with a strong understanding of janitorial operations.
• Prior supervisory or team management experience in a custodial or facilities maintenance setting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Strong communication skills for managerial interactions with staff, clients, and vendors.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with laundry services or hospitality housekeeping management is a plus.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour
