We are looking for a Full Time Social Media Manager. The ideal candidate is a creative, enthusiastic individual who loves taking photos, coming up with fresh content ideas, executing them, and building an engaging online presence that helps connect with people who need hope and help. You should be a team player who can work independently and represent Coastal Detox with care and professionalism.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adheres to all Coastal Detox, Inc. Policies and Procedures.
- Conducts self in a manner that represents Coastal Detox, Inc.’s values at all times.
- Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with all work-related contacts.
- Develops and maintains a monthly content calendar across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Creates original content ideas that educate, inspire, and raise awareness about addiction, recovery, and our detox services in a compassionate and compliant way.
- Takes high-quality photos and videos on-site (facility, team, events, client success stories with proper permissions, etc.).
- Edits photos, videos, and graphics to create engaging posts, Reels, Stories, and carousels.
- Schedules and publishes content daily while monitoring engagement and responding to comments/messages in a timely, professional manner.
- Tracks performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth) and provides monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Collaborates with the clinical and leadership team to ensure all content is accurate, compliant with healthcare marketing regulations, and aligned with our mission.
- Stays up to date with social media trends and best practices, especially in the behavioral health/recovery space.
- Helps coordinate occasional on-site photoshoots or video shoots.
- Performs other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
EQUIPMENT & SUPPORT:
- You will need to provide your own laptop and camera (DSLR, mirrorless, or high-quality smartphone with strong camera capabilities is acceptable).
- We are happy to provide any necessary software (e.g., Canva Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, scheduling tools like Later or Meta Business Suite, etc.) and other resources needed to create and edit content.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing social media for a brand or business (portfolio of work required).
- Strong photography and video skills with the ability to create clean, authentic, and engaging visual content.
- Experience creating content calendars and managing multiple platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and tools.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a recovery-related field is a plus but not required.
- Must be comfortable working in a sensitive environment and understand the importance of HIPAA/privacy compliance in marketing.
