Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measurement instruments such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Perform regular quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
- Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments to maintain measurement accuracy and reliability across all inspection activities.
- Document inspection results meticulously, analyze data trends, and prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Collaborate with production teams to address non-conformances promptly and implement corrective actions aligned with quality management systems.
- Support the development and refinement of quality control procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory/legal compliance standards in production.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving medical devices or regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or food production.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and HACCP principles.
- Hands-on experience operating measurement instruments including height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision inspection systems, and other precision measurement tools.
- Familiarity with interpreting mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documentation, GD&T specifications, and production processes.
- Demonstrated ability to perform quality audits and analyze data effectively to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations in quality inspections.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analysis skills to identify root causes of defects or deviations from quality standards.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
