Job Summary

Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble mechanical components.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math skills to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Operate power tools, pneumatic tools, hand tools, and specialized industrial equipment safely and effectively during assembly processes.
- Conduct manual handling of parts and assemblies, ensuring proper positioning and secure fastening according to manufacturing protocols.
- Follow production documents and assembly instructions meticulously to ensure consistency and quality in every product.
- Perform machining tasks as needed, including minor adjustments or modifications to components for proper fit.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for accurate assembly.
- Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools.
- Familiarity with shop math concepts necessary for measurements and calculations during assembly.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and industrial tools including soldering equipment and machining tools.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Experience with pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, and specialized industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Good manual dexterity combined with manual handling skills for assembling small or intricate parts.
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and safety protocols.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
