Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Supervisor

Maintenance Maintenance Technician Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the maintenance department, troubleshooting, supervising technicians and responsible for installing equipment, maintenance of equipment at the facility. The role focuses on equipment reliability, ensuring safety, improving productivity, and supporting continuous improvement.

Key role:

- Supervise and mentor technicians across assigned shifts

-Plan,, assign and prioritize preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities

-Troubleshoot mechanical issues for resolution

-Minimize equipment downtime by responding quickly to production issues

-Manage preventative maintenance (PM) programs for this location

-Order and manage parts, inventory and maintenance supplies

-Train technicians on equipment, safety procedures and best practices

-Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and capital projects

-Enforce lockout/tagout of equipment, machine guarding and safety protocols

-Participate in internal/ external audits related to maintenance and sanitiation

-Monitor maintenance KPI's to maximize production output

-Other related tasks as it applies to the position

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED

-3 years of maintenance experience in food or beverage manufacturing and 5 years of mechanical experience

-Strong knowledge of PLC, refrigeration and food equipement

-Ability to read blueprints schematics,and technical manuals

-Knowledge of MAPCON, Maximo and Fiix

-1-2 years of maintenance supervisor experience

-Experience with BRC, HACCP and GMP compliance

-Leadership and supervisory experience in manufacturing setting
