Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and providing personalized recommendations.
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently by practicing excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures while balancing registers at shift end.
• Support food service operations by serving snacks or small plates when required, especially during busy nights or catering events.
• Collaborate with team members in nightclub or banquet settings to ensure seamless service delivery and uphold high standards of hospitality.

Skills

• Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, retail math, or food service environments; fine dining experience is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced settings like nightclubs or banquet halls.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining quality and speed of service.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and ensuring accurate billing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper beverage preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with the food industry’s standards for alcohol serving, including responsible serving practices in nightlife or catering environments.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days; prior experience in brewing or hospitality is advantageous. • Knowledge of alcohol ordering a plus.
• At least 1 year experience in bar tending required (will be verified)

Pay: $2.50 - $5.00 per hour
