Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manually
- Serve meals and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Assist guests with menu selections, including upselling specials or additional items
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during service
- Clear tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness throughout service periods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle guest inquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Assist in setting up and closing down the dining area as required
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary options to inform guests effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Good understanding of serving procedures and guest service principles
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes
- Experience with kitchen operations or culinary tasks is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour to enhance guest experiences
- Ability to work well within a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
