Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring an outstanding customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing accurately
- Monitor alcohol consumption to promote responsible drinking and adhere to food safety regulations
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, mixers, and alcohol inventory
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery
- Uphold all food safety standards and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations
- Handle customer inquiries about menu items, beverage options, and special promotions effectively
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, or banquet settings; retail math skills are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy shifts seamlessly
- Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on creating positive guest interactions
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety protocols, and responsible serving practices
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Experience with food industry standards including catering, food service, and food safety regulations
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or nightclub operations is advantageous
