CNT Cafe is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Coffee Cashier to support daily café operations. This role involves welcoming customers, taking orders, processing payments, answering basic questions about menu items, and helping maintain a clean and organized service area. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Take coffee, beverage, and food orders accurately
- Operate the POS system and process cash and card payments
- Answer basic questions about coffee, beverages, food items, and menu options
- Confirm order details and communicate customer requests with café team members
- Prepare receipts and organize completed orders for dine-in, pickup, or takeout
- Keep the register, counter, and customer service areas clean and organized
- Restock cups, lids, bags, napkins, utensils, and other café supplies
- Assist coworkers with routine café duties during busy periods
- Support basic beverage or food-service tasks as needed
- Help with opening and closing responsibilities
- Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, café, coffee shop, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful
- Friendly and professional approach to customers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Good attention to detail when handling orders and payments
