Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take customer orders accurately and confirm order details.
- Operate the POS system and process cash and card payments accurately.
- Answer basic questions about coffee, beverages, food items, and café offerings.
- Communicate orders and customer requests clearly with baristas and café staff.
- Organize completed orders for dine-in, pickup, or takeout service.
- Keep the register, counter, and customer-facing areas clean and organized.
- Restock cups, lids, bags, napkins, utensils, and other café supplies.
- Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
- Assist coworkers with routine café duties during busy periods.
- Support opening, closing, and other daily coffee shop responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, coffee shop, café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful.
- Friendly, professional, and respectful approach to customers.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Comfortable learning and using POS systems.
