What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter and Packer position at CNH Industrial Reman?
As the painter/packager you will paint completed parts, then package them according to the Bill of Materials (BOM) and prepare them for shipping. Must work with the safety department to ensure all local, state and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met, OSHA 1910, NFPA, DNR. Must work with the quality department to ensure all quality standards are met.

- Follow work instructions, submit PCR for incorrect work instructions, contribute to continuous improvement
- Team Player, communicate effectively
- Uses existing procedures and basic problem-solving techniques to define or resolve routine problems
- Complete daily hoist inspection, daily pallet jack inspection, maintain good housekeeping practices
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, hoist, computer, staple gun, smart bagger, and SAICO paint booth
- Utilize various hand tools
- Inspect and prepare completed parts for painting
- Paint parts in paint booth
- Package painted parts according to BOM
- Set parts in designated area to be taken to shipping
- Must be a painter and be able to pass a pulmonary function test (PFT) and be able to wear a respirator when painting
- High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)
- Regular, predictable and reliable attendance
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Globally Harmonized System (GHS) labels, Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Ability to work with computers and software systems, must wear all personal protective equipment PPE
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
- Must be able to push, pull, lift up to 30 lbs. constantly, and lift 31-49 lbs. frequently
- Work in non-climate controlled environment
