Asset Recovery Coordinator (Team Lead)
This position plays a direct role in maximizing redemptions, supporting collectors, and ensuring recovery operations run efficiently from start to finish.

What You’ll Do...
- Own and drive the redemption process from start to finish
- Track, follow up, and push accounts toward resolution
- Ensure no redemption opportunities are missed
- Manage RDN assignments and coordinate repossessions as needed
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready repo and redemption logs
- Coordinate transportation of recovered assets when necessary
- Act as the operational link between collectors and repo vendors
- Work across multiple Excel spreadsheets and systems with precision
- Step in for collectors when needed:
- Handle inbound calls
- Take payments
- Manage day-to-day account activity
- Use a strong investigative approach to:
- Help locate hard-to-find vehicles
- Identify new recovery or redemption opportunities
- Coach collectors on difficult or stalled accounts
- Inventory incoming vehicles on the lot, including:
- Verifying vehicle condition and documentation
- Logging units accurately into tracking systems
- Spending time outdoors as vehicles arrive and are processed
What We’re Looking For...
- Proven experience in collections is strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills (multi-sheet tracking and organization is required)
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple moving parts
- Strong sense of urgency and follow-through
- Critical thinker with an investigative mindset
- Comfortable taking ownership and making decisions
- Ability to support and guide team members when needed
- Willingness to work both in-office and outdoors as needed
- Experience with repossessions, redemptions, or RDN is a plus
Work Environment:
This position is based in a professional office environment within a dealership or finance company setting. It may involve sitting for extended periods and frequent interaction with customers and vendors over the phone.
