The Role
We are CMIT Solutions of Philadelphia, a well-regarded managed service provider (MSP) handling the IT and tech support needs of small businesses throughout the area. We’re adding to our team, looking for a capable Level 1 technician with an excellent customer service attitude to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. You’ll work with clients remotely and onsite to resolve issues, implement new infrastructure, and act as a genuine consultant to the client.
We offer these benefits:
- Competitive pay $50,000 - $60,000 /year
- Eligibility for health benefits
- Hybrid work schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday remote; Tuesday and Thursday in the office, unless client onsite appointment is required.
- 15 paid vacation days each year (120 hours) with 5 hours earned each pay period

It will be your responsibility to:
- Provide technical assistance for PCs and Macs, servers, and networking
- Resolve issues for clients via remote sessions, phone, or in person
- Recommend improvements to clients’ infrastructure
- Track customer issues and resolutions
- Ensure best security practices are implemented for clients
- Always be mindful that customer service is our highest priority
What You Bring
- Can-do, customer-pleasing attitude
- 1 years’ experience working for an MSP, or equivalent ability and customer service skills
- Experience installing, configuring, and supporting desktops, laptops, and server systems, or equivalent talent and skill
- Understanding of physical and logical network infrastructure, security infrastructure, and performance and capacity planning.
- Knowledge and experience in these areas:
· Windows servers (Active Directory and/or Group Policy)
· Virtual environments (VMWare, MSFT Hyper-V)
· Security (firewalls and AV)
· PC/Mac cross-platform
· Desktop/notebook support
· Networking
· TCP/IP, routing, and subnetting
· Backup and disaster recovery planning
· Deploying and configuring managed services

Travel Requirement:
- Our in-office days (Tuesdays and Thursdays) are in Cherry Hill when we're together as a team. The other days you will be working from home or supporting clients on-site at their locations in Philadelphia and western suburbs area.
