As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Engineer I (Entry-Level Civil Engineer) to join our team - primarily in our Clearwater and Orlando offices, though we are open to candidates interested in our Middleton/The Villages or Ocala locations as well.
Job Description
As an Engineer I for Civil Engineering, you will support senior engineers and project managers by performing routine aspects of civil engineering assignments. You’ll assist with design, field work, and technical documentation on a variety of civil projects including site development, stormwater systems, utilities, roadways, and drainage. Key Responsibilities
Assist with civil engineering design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.
Support design teams with calculations, plan production, and data collection for permitting and construction.
Conduct field work and site visits as directed by senior engineers.
Collaborate with other disciplines to support project delivery from start to finish.
Prepare and contribute to technical reports and documentation.
Learn and apply CFB’s standards, client expectations, and civil engineering best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in office and field settings.
