Clutch is an independent automotive dealership specializing in luxury, exotic, and enthusiast vehicles. We’re growing our team and looking for a Car Sales Specialist who brings strong automotive knowledge, confidence in sales, and the drive to create opportunities — not just wait for them.
The Role
This is a hands-on sales position that includes both vehicle acquisition and sales. You’ll work with consumers, dealers, brokers, and industry contacts to source vehicles, develop relationships, manage sales opportunities, and close deals.
We’re looking for someone who can balance the energy of sales with the follow-through it takes to be successful: staying on top of leads, managing multiple deals, keeping accurate records, and taking ownership of your business.
What You’ll Do
- Buy and sell luxury, exotic, and enthusiast vehicles
- Build relationships with customers, dealers, brokers, and industry contacts
- Manage leads and sales opportunities from initial contact through closing
- Evaluate vehicles, pricing, and current market conditions
- Negotiate and close transactions
- Follow up consistently and maintain strong client relationships
- Stay organized across multiple deals, tasks, and priorities
- Proactively look for new opportunities to generate business
What We’re Looking For
First and foremost, you need to know cars. You should be comfortable with makes, models, trims, and the automotive market and genuinely interested in the industry.
Beyond that, we’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident, competitive, and motivated to sell
- A strong communicator and relationship builder
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
- Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-through
- Comfortable with technology and CRM systems
- Excited to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility
Previous sales experience is preferred, but years of experience aren’t what will make or break your application. Automotive industry experience and existing industry relationships are a plus.
