Associate Creative Director, Copy

Role: ACD, Copy - Pharma

Location: Hybrid preferred in Greater Philadelphia Area, but open to Remote (EST)

Salary: $130-150k DOE (w2)

Clutch is looking for an ACD, Copy with advertising or marketing agency experience for a client of ours.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of breakthrough creative concepts that translate into compelling, high-impact brand stories.
• Direct the copywriting, across all multichannel touchpoints.
• Oversee the evolution of brand messaging through various lifecycle stages, ensuring all copy remains accurate, strategically sound, and competitively positioned.
• Partner closely with the cross-functional creative team, fostering a collaborative environment that produces award-winning, strategically driven work.
• Lead client presentations at a senior level, defending conceptual directions and articulating how the creative work solves specific business across industries.
• Mentor and manage junior to mid-level copywriters, providing clear creative direction and professional development to elevate the department’s overall output.
• Drive the development of multichannel campaign ecosystems, ensuring the brand voice is optimized.
  
  

Requirements

• 6 years of copywriting experience within an advertising or marketing agency.
• Proven expertise in diverse industries including B2B, finance, healthcare, higher education, retail, services, and technology.
• A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual "big idea" thinking and successful execution across integrated multichannel campaigns in required for consideration!
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Science, or a related field.
• Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to build strong, consultative relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to manage multiple brands and workstreams simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Hands-on execution, including copywriting, copyediting, proofreading, and reviews.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and emerging platforms.
