Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Associate to work closely with the General Manager on daily projects aimed at boosting member retention, converting leads, and driving revenue. This role plays a vital part in supporting both the operational and sales goals of the organization through data insights, communication, and hands-on involvement with potential members. The ideal candidate thrives both independently and within a team.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a sales, customer service, or membership-based role is preferred.
- Strong customer service background, especially with the ability to de-escalate issues professionally and empathetically.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
- Proficient with spreadsheets, and reporting platforms.
- Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
- Availability during intro class times, including evenings or weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with the General Manager on initiatives related to member retention and lead conversion.
- Attend and support introductory classes, which serve as key opportunities to engage and convert groups of prospective members.
- Run and analyze sales reports to provide insights on membership and retail revenue throughout the month.
- Monitor, track, and follow up on past due invoices from memberships or fees.
- Respond promptly to time-sensitive emails from current members and incoming leads.
- Assist in developing strategies to enhance member experience and increase sign-ups.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, prospects, and member communications.
- Communicate effectively with team members and demonstrate the ability to manage tasks independently.
