Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their concerns, and accurately document service requests.
- Write detailed repair orders, estimate costs, and communicate repair plans clearly to customers.
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify issues with engines, transmissions, and other systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes and fluid checks.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance based on vehicle condition to enhance customer safety and equipment longevity.
- Maintain accurate cash handling records and process payments efficiently at the service counter.
- Collaborate closely with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards.
- Keep detailed records of all service activities, parts used, and customer interactions for transparency and future reference.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or extensive service management background.
- Hands-on mechanic experience with diagnostics and repairs across various systems including transmissions and engines.
- Strong knowledge of repair procedures.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service roles.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to recommend additional services confidently while maintaining integrity.
