Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations and patient history reviews, to determine diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient''s needs, incorporating both medical and behavioral health interventions.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and EMR platforms to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.
- Perform diagnostic procedures including medical imaging interpretation, CT scans, and basic laboratory assessments to inform clinical decisions.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient care across various settings, including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, critical care, and specialty clinics such as cardiology or endocrinology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, clinical research initiatives, and patient education to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, CPT coding standards, and other healthcare policies while delivering high-quality patient service.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in multiple specialties or a broad scope of practice across different medical disciplines such as psychiatry, pediatrics, cardiology, or neurology.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or equivalent platforms for documentation and patient management.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, diagnostic radiology (including CT), and clinical research protocols.
- Critical care experience or hospital-based practice experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform detailed patient assessments and deliver clear explanations of complex medical information.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required; additional certifications in specialized areas such as neurocritical care or interventional radiology are a plus. Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
