Duties
- Oversee daily operations of healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Manage budgets, financial reports, and fiscal responsibilities to ensure the financial health of the organization.
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate training programs to enhance team performance.
- Implement and maintain electronic medical record (EMR) systems and ensure proper documentation practices are followed.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and other relevant healthcare laws.
- Develop policies and procedures for efficient office management and patient services.
- Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Engage in utilization management to optimize resource allocation within the facility.
Skills
- Strong fiscal management capabilities with experience in budgeting and financial oversight.
- Proficient in medical office management systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar EMR/EHR systems.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience within a healthcare or dental setting.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to hiring, training, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with acute care settings, critical care experience, or hospital administration is preferred.
- Understanding of managed care principles and JCAHO standards for accreditation.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
