Job Title: Junior OutSystems Developer
Location: Albany, NY (Onsite)
Duration: 1 year (potential extension)
Start Date: estimated 9/1/2026
Hourly Rate: W2 $30 - $45/hour
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Junior OutSystems Developer who will support our NYS client by designing, building, integrating, and testing collaborative web applications that deliver effective business solutions. The ideal candidate will bring advanced OutSystems Platform expertise, modern software engineering practices, and experience delivering high-performing applications in Agile environments.
Duties:
- Develop solution features following OutSystems development best practices, ensuring solution performance and user adoption.
- Develop integrations with external systems according to defined architecture guidelines.
- Complete all assigned tasks with quality within the defined timebox.
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing and perform necessary bug fixes.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 years of OutSystems development experience.
- 1 years of web application programming experience.
- Experience with web application development, process design, and project delivery practices.
- Understanding of solution architecture, solution design, and web application performance.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: PHP, C#, or Java.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience programming with SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of database modeling.
- Knowledge of ASP.NET.
Desirable Qualifications:
- OutSystems certification.
- Strong communication, customer orientation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively as a team player.
- Strong quality orientation and attention to detail.
Educational & Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- OutSystems certification is a plus.
