What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Office Clerk position at Clio Area School District?
JOB TITLE: Clio Elementary School Office Clerk
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Discipline data entry
- Assisting with attendance tracking
- Assisting with medical data entry and medical plan fidelity (distributing medication, becoming a part of our MERT team as well)
- Assist in maintaining the mailroom and getting hard copies delivered to staff promptly
- Assisting students in need of clothing changes
- Assisting with visitor screening at the entry doors, tardy student sign-in, and early student sign-out
- Answering phones
- Making calls home for missing items
- Assisting in updating and maintaining the emergency cards
- Assisting with records filing
- Covering the offices during the Principal's Secretary lunches
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: A high school diploma is required; college coursework preferred.
- Experience: Previous work experience as an aide and work with children is preferred.
- Skills Characteristics: must have the ability to accept supervision and direction.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: 29.5 hours/week per non-affiliated group
