What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analytical Research Associate position at ClinLab Solutions Group?
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine purity, identity, stability, and impurity testing of mRNA and gRNA molecules, including capped species, poly A tail, and concentration
• Support analytical characterization of LNP formulations (encapsulation efficiency, particle size, stability, etc.)
• Execute methods including HPLC/UPLC, UV/VIS/FL spectroscopy, ELISA, PCR, and other nucleic acid assays
• Assist with method development, comparability studies, process development, and manufacturing investigations
• Prepare samples, run assays, and compile data summaries for cross-functional teams
• Contribute to automation of sample prep and data workflows where applicable
Qualifications:
• BS/MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field
• 2 years hands-on experience in an analytical or QC setting
• Experience with chromatography, spectroscopy, PCR, ELISA, and other biochemical methods
• Prior work with LNP formulation or LNP analytics strongly preferred
• Experience with lab automation and bioinformatics tools is a plus
• Strong communication skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced lab environment
