QMS Administrator

Devens, MA – Hybrid Schedule

Permanent, Fulltime

Our client, an advanced manufacturing company, is looking for an ETQ QMS System Administrator to own its ETQ Reliance Quality Management System. You'll be the main expert on the platform. You'll support users across the company, fix issues as they come up, and adjust workflows as quality and business needs change. Your goal is a system that stays stable and reliable and fits the way their teams work.

You'll work closely with Quality, IT, and business partners to understand what they need and turn it into system configurations. Every change will be tested before it reaches production, and you'll coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm each release does what the business needs. You'll also drive improvements that help the platform grow as the company grows.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. It's a good fit for someone who likes being the person everyone relies on for a critical enterprise system and wants to help build a quality platform that sets the standard.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the lead administrator and functional analyst for ETQ Reliance, helping end users across the organization get the most from the system.
  • Investigate and resolve system incidents, find root causes, and put long-term fixes in place.
  • Configure and maintain the platform so it stays stable, secure, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Build and refine workflows that turn business processes into practical system solutions.
  • Gather and document requirements from stakeholders, then turn them into functional specifications and configurations.
  • Write test plans and scripts, and run and validate tests to confirm changes meet business and quality standards.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing, collect stakeholder feedback, and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Review how the platform is used and how it performs, and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor system stability and data integrity as business requirements change.

What You Bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience administering ETQ Reliance or a similar enterprise QMS, including configuration and workflow design. Manufacturing or regulated-industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with a QMS implementation, whether you led a rollout or supported one from design through go-live.
  • A background in functional or corporate application support, including troubleshooting end-user issues.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and turning them into system configurations.
  • Experience preparing, running, and validating tests, including coordinating UAT.
  • Working knowledge of quality processes and standards such as CAPA, document control, audits, change management, ISO 9001, and AS9100.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and you're comfortable in Jira, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.

Benefits Overview:

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance starting on your first day.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation PTO, sick PTO, and 14 paid company holidays.
  • 401(k) with company match, plus stock options.
