Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical) is partnering with a mission-driven healthcare organization to hire a Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time evening shift role in Crescent City, California.
This provider will treat both primary care and urgent care patients in a collaborative outpatient clinic focused on expanding access to care for the community.
This is a Direct Hire Opportunity.
Job Summary
The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive patient care during evening hours (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM), managing both scheduled primary care visits and walk-in urgent care cases. This role offers the opportunity to practice broad-scope outpatient medicine in a supportive and fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary care and urgent care services in an outpatient clinic setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions
- Perform minor procedures and urgent care evaluations
- Deliver preventive care and patient education
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications
- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active and unrestricted California PA license
- Board certification required (NCCPA)
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, or family medicine preferred
- Comfortable treating acute and chronic conditions in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Position Overview
- Schedule: Evening shift, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Clinic days: Sunday - Friday
- Clinical hours: 33 - 40 hours per week
- Patient volume: Approximately 3 patients per hour
- Combination of primary care and urgent care visits
Compensation
- Base salary: $160,000 - $200,000 depending on experience
- Incentive bonus structure available
- Providers working 40 clinical hours per week and seeing 3 patients per hour can earn up to $300,000 annually
