Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental exams, cleanings, and restorative procedures.
- Diagnose and treat common dental conditions, including caries, infections, and minor oral surgery needs.
- Provide care to both adult and pediatric patients, as appropriate.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient, four-handed dentistry.
- Maintain clear and accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Adapt quickly to new practice environments and office workflows.
Requirements
- DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school.
- Active state dental license in good standing.
- Prior experience in general dentistry (minimum 1–2 years preferred).
- Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic is a plus.
- Comfortable performing a wide range of general procedures, including endodontics and simple extractions.
- Experience treating pediatric patients is a bonus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
