Responsibilities of the Family Practice APP:

Responsibilities of the Family Practice APP:
- Collaborate with the medical director and supervising physician to deliver primary care commensurate with training to patients 18 and up
- Deliver care appropriate for an out-patient, primary care community health center with a multicultural, multilingual patient population
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Assist in chronic disease management through individual interventions, clinic support and ongoing education.
- Work collaboratively with the clinic staff to provide high quality, comprehensive primary care.
- Ability to provide a variety of services including chronic disease management, physicals, perform Pap smear/women's wellness exams (WWE), routine check-ups, illness treatment, medication management, etc.
Qualifications of the Family Practice APP:
- Current, active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in state of practice
- Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Strong, recent experience in Primary Care/Family Medicine
- Relevant Master’s degree
- Current Texas valid professional license to practice in respective field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Bilingual in Spanish a huge plus!
Compensation:
- Compensation starting around $115K
- Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with an occasional evening and weekend (Sat 9-1). A 4x10 schedule is also available
