Job Summary
The Associate Vice President (AVP) and Director of Undergraduate Admissions serves as a senior admissions leader at Cleveland State University (CSU), responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and continuous improvement of undergraduate recruitment and admissions. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the AVP translates CSU’s mission and strategic priorities into enrollment goals and data-informed recruitment plans that attract, enroll, and support various talented student body. Provides executive oversight across domestic and international recruitment, admissions operations, new student orientation, enrollment events, and prospective student marketing and communications. Cultivates high-level partnerships with academic deans and college leadership, aligns messaging and outreach across institutional channels, uses market intelligence and enrollment data to develop forward-looking projections and recruitment strategies. Leads a high-performing team committed to customer service, operational excellence, and measurable outcomes. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in higher education administration, business, marketing, or a related field.
- Eight (8) years of progressive experience in planning, management, and administration of higher education enrollment operations; five (5) years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience with CRM systems, particularly Slate (Technolutions), including optimization for recruitment, communications, and enrollment reporting.
- Proficient with ERP systems and electronic document/records management platforms.
- Experience directing prospective student marketing and communications campaigns across digital, email, print, and other channels.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the University’s Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.
