Station or Machines:

1. Small flamematic
2. Large flamematic
3. Furnaces
4. Shot blast
5. Hydraulic press
6. Hardness tester
7. Crane
8. Pallet lifter
9. Center lap

Job Duties/Responsibilities

1. Handling
2. First piece inspection
3. Signoff sheets
4. Reporting non-conforming material
5. Reporting maintenance problems
6. Reviewing blueprint revisions
7. Heat treating per engineering specifications
8. Shot blast
9. Straightening
10. Hardness testing
11. Lap centers

Preferred Qualifications 

1. High school graduate
2. Two (2) years vocational school
3. One (1) year previous paint experience

Minimum Physical Qualifications:

1. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
2. Must be able to load/unload parts with a hoist
3. Must be able to move parts using pallet lifter

Minimum Qualifications

1. One (1) year experience in heat treat area or high school graduate and six (6) months experience in heat treat
2. Familiar with safety rules and procedures
3. Department procedures
4. Setup and operation of equipment
5. Must be able to read and write in English
6. Operators are “certified” by a 60-day training period with a “certified” operator
