ELEMENTARY EDUCATION LICENSURE
- Candidates must hold and be HQ in the Elementary K-6 (025) license area.
- Non-licensed, residency licensure candidates are eligible based upon holding a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA, and 24 semester hours of related courses; OR passing scores on the Pearson Foundations of Reading test AND either the Praxis 7813 Math test or the Math subtest of the Pearson General Curriculum test.
- Examples of related courses include:
- Birth-Kindergarten, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, English/Language Arts, Family Studies, Mathematics, Psychology, Reading, Sciences, Social Studies, Sociology
- Eligibility for the residency license must be established prior to a contract offer.

- Candidates must hold and be HQ in the middle grades language arts (78180) license area.
- Non-licensed, residency licensure candidates are eligible based upon holding a Bachelor's degree with a minimum 2.7 GPA, and 24 semester hours of related courses in language arts; OR passing PRAXIS II scores in Middle School English Language Arts.
