What Is the Operations Superintendent Role?
As an Operations Superintendent, you’ll lead large-scale production operations in a fast-paced, high-volume facility. You'll manage 100 team members (including supervisors), drive daily operational goals, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Maintenance, FSQA, R&D, and Planning. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leading people, ensuring quality, and driving performance through continuous improvement and Lean principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop production teams to meet daily and long-term performance goals
- Drive operational efficiency and compliance (HACCP, SQF, USDA)
- Collaborate across departments to align on strategy and execution
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production challenges
- Create a culture of safety, accountability, and engagement

✔ 5–7 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or production
