The Fabricator is responsible for operating a variety of machines and tools to produce precision parts and assemblies in a manufacturing environment. This role includes fabricating, modifying, and repairing equipment, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and independent work.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate parts from blueprints and technical drawings.
- Weld, fabricate, and repair machinery within the plant as needed.
- Repair and maintain equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Install fabricated parts and components in the plant.
- Perform layout work and ensure accuracy in measurements and cuts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety practices and promote a culture of safety.
- Support team efforts to achieve KPI goals.
- Work in alignment with company core values.
Core Skills / Competencies
- Proficient in stick and TIG welding.
- Ability to set up and operate cutting, forming, and welding equipment.
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
- Experience with sheet metal layout, bend allowances, brake, and shear.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Experience / Requirements
- 1–2 years of TIG welding experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to fabricate and weld parts independently.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
