The Senior Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while safely transporting products between facilities. A CDL-A License is required for this role. This role ensures efficient product handling, accurate order fulfillment, and adherence to quality and safety standards in a cold storage environment. The position requires operation of powered industrial equipment, product inspection, and compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to move, stack, and stage products
- Shuttle products between plant locations using a Class A CDL vehicle
- Pick individual cases, build pallets, and stage completed orders for outbound shipment
- Scan products and verify accuracy of orders and inventory movements
- Perform product inspections to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Ensure proper product rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods
- Verify all products are QA-approved prior to shipment
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any deficiencies
- Perform rework activities as needed (re-labeling, re-stacking, sanitation, product dating)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas
- Support loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE

Work Environment
- Exposure to extreme cold conditions (0–35°F)
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Occasional work at heights and around vibrating equipment
- Loud work environment requiring hearing protection
- Required PPE includes steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, and safety harness (as applicable)
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations
- Valid Class A CDL with safe driving record
