Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.
Status: Full-time, benefits eligible
Overtime: As business needs require

About the Role
At Clemco, our Pressure Vessel Builders play a critical role in delivering high-quality, safe, and reliable equipment to customers around the world. This role requires hands-on mechanical skill, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship. You’ll work across multiple areas of the plant, collaborate with teammates, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that support safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Use drawings, work instructions, and visual aids to prepare Clemco pressure vessels and related products for customer use
  • Rotate through multiple production areas (including blasting, pot preparation, hydro room, and others) to support equipment readiness and delivery
  • Assemble pressure vessels by attaching valves and external components using drawings, videos, and work instructions
    • Maintain required tolerances and correct orientation of components
    • Apply labels, branding, and logos per specifications
  • Work periodically in large, enclosed blast rooms
    • Clemco provides required personal protective equipment (PPE)
    • Strict adherence to safety standards is essential
  • Take pride in workmanship, product quality, and meeting customer delivery commitments
  • Use hand tools, machine tools, multimeters, tow motors, overhead cranes, and forklifts as required
  • Collaborate effectively with teammates across departments
  • Assist with dismantling equipment after testing to support shipping and logistics when needed
  • Proactively expand knowledge of other departments, equipment, and troubleshooting standards with guidance from experienced technicians
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous quality and process improvement
  • Actively participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement activities such as PDCA, A3 thinking, and Root Cause Analysis
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform hands-on manufacturing work
  • Working knowledge of basic machine tools
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Basic computer data entry skills
  • Strong commitment to safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Helpful (Can Be Learned on the Job)
  • Ability to read and apply electrical schematics, mechanical and/or electrical drawings, and ladder diagrams (expected within 60 days of hire)
  • Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes

Working Conditions
This position is primarily indoors; however, work areas are not climate-controlled and delivery doors are opened periodically throughout the day. The role requires near-continuous standing, moderate physical exertion, and sustained attention to detail. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required; assistance and appropriate protective equipment are provided. As with all manufacturing roles, adherence to established safety rules is essential to prevent injury to self and others. Clemco provides PPE, respirators, and lifting assistance as required by task.
