Responsibilities And Duties
- Schedules all nursing staff and prepares weekly nursing schedule. Notifies staff of schedule and necessary schedule changes.
- Receives incoming calls and directs them appropriately to address nursing scheduling issues. Notifies Nursing Administration when there is insufficient staff availability or scheduling conflicts.
- Obtains permission from the Dir. of Nursing/Administrator before scheduling overtime or nursing registry personnel.
- Adjusts schedules as needed to accommodate changes, i.e., illness, vacation, PTO days, etc.
- Collaborates with Nursing Administration daily to ensure adequate and appropriate staff is allocated.
- Assists nursing office with clinical management tasks as needed.
- Assists payroll manager with processing of weekly payroll and appropriate nursing hours.
- Must posses either a CNA, Med Tech, or nursing license
- Previous Long-term care experience preferred.
