The Regional Director of Clinical Services provides clinical oversight and support to assigned facilities, ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical outcomes. This role works closely with facility leadership on survey readiness, policies and procedures, and overall clinical performance. Responsibilities include conducting mock surveys, assisting with plans of correction, and supporting facilities in maintaining compliance with all State and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate clinical services in assigned facilities to identify opportunities for improvement
- Complete and submit visit reports and audit results to corporate management
- Assist the DON with reviewing candidates for RN management positions as needed
- Schedule facility and regional visits based on facility needs and compliance requirements
- Coordinate monthly regional training and professional development meetings for DONs
- Establish quarterly and annual performance improvement goals with local and regional clinical staff
- Promote and ensure compliance with ClearView’s core values, ethics, policies, procedures, and standards of practice
- Provide assistance during the survey process, including preparation, developing plans of correction, action planning, and monitoring compliance
- Current RN license in the state of employment
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Multi-facility experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in a long-term care setting
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent knowledge of state and federal regulations and guidelines
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- Strong ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and government agencies
- Ability to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
- Skilled in planning, organizing, developing, implementing, and interpreting programs, goals, policies, and procedures for quality care and operations
- Thorough familiarity with personnel administration laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Patient, tactful, enthusiastic, and able to interact effectively with clients, staff, and visitors
- Willingness to seek out and incorporate new methods and principles into existing practices
- Ability to maintain positive personnel relations and employee morale
- Proficiency with computer systems, applications, and office equipment
- Strong communication skills for conveying policies, procedures, reports, and regulations to staff, clients, families, and agencies
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
- Travel required
