Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent communication to ensure a positive experience for both patients and staff
- Greet and room patients promptly
- Conduct thorough patient work-ups, including:
- Collecting medical history, medications, and allergies
- Performing vision assessments and eye pressure checks
- Documenting patient complaints and doctor’s observations
- Performing diagnostic tests as ordered by the doctor
- Assisting with scribing during patient exams
- Recording diagnosis, treatment plans, and prescriptions
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Assisting with in-office procedures and laser treatments
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Cleaning and restocking exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and calibrating machines
