Regional Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, including consolidated budgets, variance reporting, capital planning, and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency
• Oversee the preparation, consolidation, and timely reporting of monthly financial statements, including intercompany eliminations, location-level reporting, and required reporting to the parent company and senior management
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, financial procedures, regulatory compliance, physical inventory controls, and safeguards over company assets
• Provide financial oversight and support to location Controllers, conducting financial reviews, internal audits, training, and ensuring consistent accounting practices across company locations
• Manage key corporate financial activities, including debt covenant compliance, banking transactions, external audits, tax filings, inventory appraisals, and relationships with auditors, bankers, tax advisors, brokers, and other external partners
• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team, including recruiting, training, performance management, while partnering closely with the CFO and cross-functional leadership to support business strategy and organizational goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required; active CPA certification required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounts payable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and financial systems, including spreadsheet analysis and financial reporting
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process financial data and generate accurate reports
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively analyze financial information and support accounting operations

Salary: $135k - $160k
