Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee daily production operations at a seed processing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, manufacturing or agricultural experience, and a background in production, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations, including receiving, processing, packaging, storage, and warehousing.
• Supervise, train, and manage production employees, including seasonal staff.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and quality standards.
• Manage production schedules and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor inventory, equipment performance, and production efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and processing records.
• Work closely with management to ensure smooth plant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in seed production or similar operations.
• Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or plant operations preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of production processes, equipment maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Good organizational, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
