Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist
Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Safety Records: Maintain all safety and accident records.
- Audit Support: Support contractor audits and EHS policies/standards.
- Program Development: Develop and implement safety programs across manufacturing facilities.
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental management systems.
- Documentation: Generate and maintain documentation related to EHS initiatives.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and enforce safety protocols.
- Training: Deliver site safety training to employees.
- Compliance Reviews: Participate in internal and external compliance reviews and audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of EHS experience in food manufacturing, processing, cold storage, warehouse, or industrial production.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state/local safety regulations.
- Expert knowledge of safety system analysis and compliance requirements.
- Experience conducting safety training, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify hazards and risks.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
