We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director of Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting with deep expertise in ASC 606, 808, 730, and 842 to lead complex accounting assessments and ensure accurate, compliant SEC reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical accounting analysis for complex revenue arrangements, collaborative agreements, R&D activities, and leasing transactions.
- Prepare and review detailed technical accounting position papers and audit-ready memos.
- Oversee technical support for SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), including disclosures related to revenue, leases, and R&D.
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Sales Ops, FP&A, Real Estate, and Operations.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX controls.
- Act as the primary technical accounting contact for external auditors and advisors.
- Support M&A accounting, business combinations, and post-close integration as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- 7 years of progressive experience in technical accounting and SEC reporting
- Deep hands-on expertise in ASC 606, 808, 730, and 842
- Strong experience preparing technical accounting memoranda
- Public accounting and/or public company experience preferred
