Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Associate Director (Hybrid – Boston, 3 days onsite)
6-month contract, potential extension
Pay Rate: $90-95/Hour

Our client is a successful biotech company in Boston and they are looking for a seasoned Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting professional to join their team as an Associate Director. This person will lead technical accounting research, documentation, and SEC reporting for complex transactions. They will also monitor and implement new accounting standards and regulatory developments.

Our client is a successful biotech company in Boston and they are looking for a seasoned Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting professional to join their team as an Associate Director. This person will lead technical accounting research, documentation, and SEC reporting for complex transactions. They will also monitor and implement new accounting standards and regulatory developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and prepare accounting analyses/whitepapers on complex areas (revenue recognition, consolidations, business combinations, impairments, etc.)
- Develop and maintain company accounting policies
- Support Business Development with accounting impact analyses for new opportunities
- Monitor and implement new accounting/reporting guidance; prepare executive summaries and implementation plans
- Partner cross-functionally on new standards adoption and financial reporting impacts
- Serve as liaison with internal/external auditors
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting
- Strong communication, multitasking, and analytical skills
- Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency
- Proven experience implementing new accounting standards
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s in Accounting and 8 years in financial accounting/reporting (Big 4 or public company preferred)
Salary : $90 - $95
