What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collections Specialist position at CleanTech Environmental?
CleanTech Environmental – an Oil and Energy company that recycles and transports Hazardous Waste is currently seeking a professional and experienced Collection Specialist to join our team. The full time Collection Specialist is to work Mondays – Fridays. The qualifying candidate will work cooperatively with staff and perform a variety of tasks.
Major responsibilities include maintaining and understanding accounts receivable (A/R) status of all billing accounts.
- Call customers regarding their past due accounts to create payment solutions that are appropriate for their unique financial situations.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles to successfully solidify payment commitments.
- Adhere to quality standards and ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations that govern third party collections.
- Ability to prioritize and stay current on all accounts assigned.
- Use QuickBooks to monitor accounts for collection activity, including scheduled payments;
Requirements
· Previous experience in accounts receivable/collections or a related field.
· Previous experience with QuickBooks
· Proficiency in analyzing financial data and performing account reconciliations.
· Excellent 10-key typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
Solid math skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time- 8AM to 5PM
